The Kennebec Valley Tourism Council (KVTC) is a non-profit 501 (C), 6-year group organized to administer the Maine Tourism Marketing Association Program (MTMPP) grant awarded each year by the Maine Tourism Office and the State of Maine to each of Maine's eight tourist regions. MANP has become the state's largest network of organizations dedicated to the common good, with more than 940 non-profit members and 160 partners in government, business and philanthropy, representing every county in Maine and the full range of missions and sizes of non-profit organizations. About REM REM (Revitalize the Energy in ME, where ME stands for “Maine” and “me”) is a non-profit grassroots organization that supports a network of citizen volunteers working to improve the quality of life in central Maine. Governed by an independent board of directors, the Maine Policy Institute is a non-profit, nonpartisan, tax-exempt organization.
The Boys & Girls clubs have been offering after-school programs for children ages 6 to 18 in Southern Maine since 1909. The Maine Policy Institute is a research and education organization whose mission is to formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited constitutional government, individual freedom, and traditional American values, all with the purpose of providing public policy solutions that benefit the people of Maine. The Maine Association of Nonprofit Organizations (MANP) enriches Maine communities by empowering people with purpose, people and organizations that are at the forefront of the issues and opportunities that will determine Maine's future prosperity.
